Claudia Stark is a 25 year old indie-folk artist currently residing in Surrey, who has been capturing audiences for over 8 years with her thought provoking songs. Her snappy, socially swayed lyrics bring issues to mind that cut to the heart of the jaded person within all of us.

Claudia has played over 300 live shows to date, including two headline launch shows at her hometown venue of The Boileroom and many summer festivals including Wickham Festival, Victorious, Carfest North and South, Trinity Folk Festival and The Big Feastival.

Claudia has been described as performing “with a ton of guts, passion, and at times brutal intensity” (The Musical Melting Pot) which is entirely in keeping with the fierce subjects of which she writes. She would sit well in a record collection containing the likes of Frank Turner, Suzanne Vega and Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.

Last year Claudia worked on a collaborative EP with fellow singer-songwriter Zach Johnson which the pair recorded themselves without the aid of a studio or producer and released in November 2019. The EP was very well received by current fans and new audiences alike and the duo will continue to tour this project throughout the new year.

2020 will also see Claudia release some never-before-heard solo tracks, which she will record from home. This is an exercise in new levels of experimentation for Claudia, whose previous releases have included collaboration with an outside producer and she hopes the tracks will take on a more raw, ambient and gritty feel that some of her previous releases.
